    Description

    This listing is for a set of two (2) Imperial brand Character Dials/wheels for dial style marking machines. These came with a Numberall Model 141 dial stamping machine that was used in the military. These dials are a 1/8" character size and the only thing that I noticed with these is they lacked an index notch at each character that my machine utilized so it would "click" when in proper place. It worked fine, but I had to manually index the characters by eye. I am not sure if the modern model 94 dial stampers have the same indexing system as my ancient machine.The numerals are also not in order. I do not understand what they were stamping, but you have to search out each character.
    One wheel is used quite a bit, but not abused. The other was new when I received it. But covered in old yucky cosmoline. I cleaned it off and the oxidation that has developed has occurred from exposure to air over the past decade.The wheel diameter is roughly 4 3/4".
