This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment.  Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.
This is an excellent reproduction of a mid-19th century Confederate Army issued "CS" Cartridge Box Plate - made of solid cast brass - oval in shape.  In very nice like-new condition.  Made to fit on the front of the soldier's leather cartridge box.
