Description
This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment. Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes. This is an absolutely outstanding reproduction of a middle 19th century (1840s - 1870s) Civilian Man's Double-Breasted Paletot style Frock Coat with three working exterior pockets - eight matching fabric-covered buttons down the front (see photo) and correctly patterned wide fall collar (more accurate reproduction than most you will find). This fits very well and tailored nicely for the middle 19th century. A common coat for men of all stations of life. Very, very nice all around. Lined. Can't be beat for the price. Never worn and new.
New, improved pattern - Two buttons on the back, above the tails, as per originals... Lined in brown cotton, sleeves lined in white cotton.
SIZE is tagged as a 44" chest, but made slightly oversized so can easily fit close to a 45" chest. Made of a nice weave, solid "Caramel" colored Tan/Camel wool.
Armpit-to-Armpit: 23"
Sleeve Length: 25"
Length of Coat: 38 1/2"
A nice coat for Civil War re-enacting, SASS, Cowboy living history, Neo-Victorian and Steampunk.
