Description

This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment.  Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.
This is an absolutely outstanding reproduction of a middle 19th century (1840s - 1870s) Civilian Man's Double-Breasted Paletot style Frock Coat with three working exterior pockets - eight matching 4-hole Wooden Buttons down the front (see photo) and correctly patterned wide fall collar (more accurate reproduction than most you will find).  This fits very well and tailored nicely for the middle 19th century.  A common coat for men of all stations of life. Very, very nice all around.  Lined in off-white, natural-colored cotton. Can't be beat for the price.  Never worn and new.
SIZE is tagged as a 48" chest, but made slightly oversized so can easily fit up to a 49"+ chest.  Made of a beautiful weave wool/cotton blend Jean Cloth in a rich Dark Blue color.
Armpit-to-Armpit:  26"
Sleeve Length:     26 1/2"
Length of Coat:     39"
A nice coat for Civil War re-enacting, SASS, Cowboy living history, Neo-Victorian and Steampunk.
