    Description

    Confederate Field Grade Officer's Kepi made of dark blue wool, having hand sewn rows of three gold braids, denoting field grade officer (Major Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel)with muslin lining and a leather sweat band. Leather bill or visor, leather chin strap with smaller officer style slide buckle. This item is all hand cut and hand stitched. I think it was worn one time approximately 10 years ago at the Perryville, Kentucky reenactment. Size is approximately 7 1/4, maybe a size larger or smaller, depending how you wear your hat on your head. Most items ship next day USPS.
